What format are the photos in?
All APG Images Event Photography photos are in JPG format
Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we cannot offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for the products to be returned. However, we may be able to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the APG Images Event Photography photos that I download?
Yes. While APG Images Event Photography offers great freedom and a wide range of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format without permission from APG Images. If you are a commercial entity and require images for commercial use please
contact us to discuss a suitable package which meets your needs.
If I purchase an image are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site?
No all fees will be calculated by the cart at the time of checkout. This includes the price of the image, postage for the item and taxes that are applicable.
Why does the site run slowly sometimes and not others?
Visitors may occasionally find the site runs a little slowly. This generally occurs when we are uploading batch loads of images to the site. We endeavour to upload images in the early hours of the morning so as not to disrupt our visitors, but if our generally fast site appears a little slow, this will be the reason. Please accept our apology and browse through the new photos we will have added!
How do I download an image?
To download an image you must first register with our store. Click the registration link on the top menu, complete the form, check the "free account" button and once your registration is complete login to the store. You can now create a lightbox, then browse the images adding your prefferred images to your lightbox. Once complete simply go to your lightbox, you can then purchase your selected images.
After I purchases my photos will they have a watermark?
The watermark is only visible on images viewed on the store for security reasons, once the image is purchased it will no longer contain the watermark.
I bought a image, but it says I'm not activated when i try to download it, what do I do?
On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase and you are not able to access photos APG Images Event Photography using your details, send a
support request.
How long are images left on the store?After shooting an event we generally leave the images on the store for a period of 2 months from the date of the shoot. If we have taken photos at an event and they are no longer available on the store you can contact us as the originals may still be available.
Registered FAQ's
Why am I required to registered on the website to make a purchase?
As most of our visitors to this website come for the same reason, to view and buy images of themselves or their recent event. APG Images requires your information so we can process and ship your purchases with the minimum of fuss and in a timely fashion. Absolutely and without question, no details provided to us by our clients will be shared with any third party.
When I login into the store there are extra icons, what are they?
After you have successfully registered on the store and logged in via the "member login" link under the Options area on the left, a number of new icons appear. These iscons and the first page that appears when you login indicate that you have successfully entered the store as a registered user.
On the left side of the page under "Options" you will see a "View Cart" link, which takes you to the status of your current shopping cart. Here you can remove items from the cart or increase the number of items you wish to buy. For instance you may wish to order 3 prints of the one image for other family members. Simply change the number in the quantity box and your cart will be update.
The logout button also appears on the left and allows you to log out of the store. You may wish to logout of the store if you have finished browsing and another user may be on the computer at a later time.
The 'logged" icon indicates the name of the current logged in user and the "Account" icon indicates that you have successfully subscribed to our free account. One of the benefits of logging into the store is that you are able to use lightbox to make browsing and selecting your images alot quicker. After you have logged into the store you will notice every image has a + icon under the thumbnail or an add to lightbox icon under larger images. Simply by pressing this you will add the image to your lightbox so you can return and view your lightbox at a later time. You may even want to email your lightbox to a friend or family member. Please remember in doing this you are sending that person links to each image on the website, if those images are in a protected area they will not be visible to the user unless they have the password. We do not advise sharing any passwords that are given out for events as they are there to protect your children and friends from those with ill intentions. Please be mindful of this and help us to ensure your childrens safety and rights aren't abused.
Is account sharing allowed?
No, sharing an account is the same as distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.
My orders is just that! In this area you can view all your previous and current orders. Click on each order to view the particulars of that order. You can also view an invoice for that particular order and by selecting the printable version can obtain a printed copy of your order.
My Lightbox?
The Lightbox is a convenient addition that allows registered users to save their favorite images. Register on the store, then visit the "My Lightbox" link to create a lightbox to add photos. Once a lightbox has been created you can then browse the site and click on the "+" icons to add it to your lightbox and continue searching. You can even email the lightbox to a friend or family member. Your recipient can then click on the icons in their email and visit the page on our site to see the full version.
Most people use lightboxes to store images they're interested in which relate to a particular project or client. There's no limit on the number of lightboxes you can create or the amount of time we'll store them for you!
Once you've created a lightbox and added images to it, you can remove images that no longer interest you, email the lightbox to other people, and much more!
What is my Profile?
My profile enables you to view and edit any of the details you provided to us when registering on the store. You are able to change your password at any time, simply enter and confirm your new password and then save the page. We are aware that a lot of people do not like to provide their personal details over the internet. We ensure you that this information is only used by us and never given to a third party. We also ask that you provide as much detail as possible so we are able to contact you if required and so that we might process your order with the minimum of fuss and delay.
Email photo to friend?
This option enables you to send the photos you like to your friends to view. To use this option you are required to be a subscriber (either a paid or free subscription) and be logged in before you can email this to a friend or family member.
This works the same as the lightbox except it has just one photo in the email. This photo has a link back to your store so the recipients are taken straight to the image details page.
Transaction FAQ's
How do I purchase an image?
To purchase one of our images click on any thumbnail image to bring up the description page for the particular image. On the right side of the description page you will find all purchase options related
to that image as displayed here. The first listing will display the high quality image it's dimensions and price etc. Each subsequent listing is a smaller version of the original image and is priced accordingly.
To purchase a copy of your image at the desired quality, simply click on the "Add to Cart" link. This will place the image in your cart, you can then continue shopping by clicking the "Continue Shopping" link above.
Should you wish to purchase a Print or Canvas of the image, press the drop down box located under "Prints & Products". A list of all prints and products available for that image will be displayed. Select the product of your choice then press the orange "Add Selected to Cart" button to add this product to your cart. For a description of all prints and products available to the image click the down facing arrow to give a detailed view.
Once you have filled your shopping basket with the images you wish to puchase click on the "View Cart" link, located on the left under the "Options" heading. This will take you to your current shopping cart and list all the images and products you have selected. Here you can review your cart items and remove any items you wish from the cart.
In order to complete your transaction, place any Coupon or Bonus offer code you have into the box
and click the "Enter" button to recalculate your cart's value. Select either the "Buy Now" or Check Money Order and click on the approriate button.
You will then be directed to Paypal, here you have a number of choices.
- Log into your Paypal account and complete the transaction, after which you will be directed back to our website. You will receive an email verfiying your purchase and providing you the links to download the images. Note you MUST download your purchased images within 15 days.
- If you do not have a Paypal account you can complete the transaction using your credit card. Complete the required form correctly and provide all information requested. After your payment has been verified you will be directed back to our site. You will receive an email verfiying your purchase and providing you the links to download the images. Note you MUST download your purchased images within 15 days.
If you choose to make your purchase by sending a cheque or money order, you will be directed to the relevant page. Here you are required to complete the form with the requested information, you are provided our mailing address details and should forward any payments to this address. Pay particular attention to including the transaction ID (Order Number) with your payment. Once payment is received you cart will be completed and you will receive an email allowing you to download the images in your cart or you will receive your prints via mail. APG Images cannot be responsible for delays in the mail service, please allow sufficient time before contacting us regarding your order.
